Crumb Together is an amazing plant based bakery in Childwall, Liverpool.
This write up is a bit overdue as they have done some amazing cakes for big events for me in the past and they are a joy to deal with and their cakes are delicious.
I didn’t realise they did savoury stuff until today. That is equally amazing, here are some pizza rolls & cheese twists. As well this eclare is probably the nicest I’ve had in my life.
This restaurant is a beautiful nautical themed restaurant right on the coast. It does an absolutely delicious vegan roast dinner.
The roasts, veegetables are amazing. My stupid photography is hiding the gravy. I am not a food reviewer lmao. Parsnips are underrated on a roast as is beetroot. The protein was a nut roast which was delicious and there is a vegan yorkshire pudding sat on top. Amazing!
A few weeks earlier, we actually came here for breakfast. The only vegan thing they had on the menu was beans on toast. HOWEVER, the staff are absolutely lovely and found out that the sausages were vegan and made us a delicious vegan breakfast.
Today I am talking about the amazing Doux Chaton, an awesome Vietnamese restaurant on Renshaw street in Liverpool.
We had the Tofu Summer Rolls and the Vegan Pho. It is absolutely massive, we had to take some home. It is so good and it comes with a side dish of beansprouts, chilis, coriander etc that you can add to your dish. Just a dash of the chilis make it quite spicy!
On a previous visit we also had the Banh Mi, that was brilliant as well!
They have a good selection of bubble tea that is lovely as well. The place is so popular, people will happily queue outside to have some of their brilliant food.
Down the hatch is a banging vegan restaurant! Amazing burgers here and its down in a little basement hence down the hatch 😉
Here are some of the vegan zinger wings and the jager glaze wings. You can choose whether you want them to be mushrooms or seitan and they are amazing. The portion size is way bigger than this, these are just a few on my side plate.
If that prawn toast looks familiar to you then it should! ibvo: wu tang scran
I have heard that the owners of Down the hatch and woo tan scran (it’s not actually wu tang scran 🤣) are brothers in law or something! So woo tan scran food is available here too!
Here is the delightful zinger burger, it’s amazing. I was being dozy and didn’t realise I ordered the same flavour for both burger and wings oops
They also do amazing cocktails, vegan milkshakes and even vegan milkshakes with alcohol. My god.
Lastly the staff were super ffiendly and helpful helping us with the pram and what not. Totally brilliant!
An awesome little Kurdish café on London road in Liverpool. I think this falafel sandwich is the only vegan thing on the menu but it’s an absolute belter and it is a very authentic cafe so certainly worth a visit
If you want a giant vegan pizza captain tonys birkenhead is great. They do cheesy chips, little pizza garlic breads, cheesy baguette garlic breads and hot dogs.
I’ve been going herr since I was a kid so I love it. Side note only the Birkenhead bramch do vegan options so it’s a little drive if you’re a Wallasey head buuuut it’s worth it lol. Look at the size of the pizza!
This one is fron the vault a bit because I went in Jan 2024. The preggo steaks are absolutely amazing, the portion sizes are generous and it was so tasty.
If youre thinking why did he only get half the plate in, well I’m sorry, it is what it is. It’s making my mouth water though!
Tucked behind London road in Liverpool city centre is this amazing restaurant. The walls are adorned with old punk gig leaflets
Everything is vegan so there is so much choice! Pictured are the sticky ribz, chips and guan n roll burger. The portion sizes are huge, you have to unhinge your jaw to eat that burger.
We went to watch a poppy gig (https://impoppy.com/) after a guac n roll once. It was a struggle we were so full. Absolutely 0 regrets 😎😎😎
