  • Androfoco Dev Diary – 30 5 2026

    Hello good folks

The demo for Androfoco is completed and has been submitted!

I’ve not released a demo before, so it was a new experience. Priorities were shifted so things that are usually reserved for the release of a game were brought forward.

    This includes stuff like:

    • Creating a trailer
    • Fixing awkward UI bugs that I was putting off
    • Polish on the UI – button prompts and whatnot
    • Sensitivity settings
    • Extra visual flourish, making some particle effects pop better
    • Adding some environmental story telling to a particular map
    • Compiling the credits list properly ( I just scribble it down in a text file as I go along )

Speaking of the trailer here it is:

The footage for trailer was recorded entirely using Bazzite Linux so it should hopefully work nicely on Steam decks and the like!

There is a link in game to open the web page version of the credits. It is more readable on the website and I included hyperlinks to people’s portfolios and stuff.

I’m not sure when exactly the demo will be available but it should be out for Steam Next Fest from the 15th June and hopefully a little bit before then. I am looking forward to reading people’s impressions about it.

For the demo I wanted to give an impression what the battle system is like. In the full version, the story mode will gradually add different mechanics so that players can learn how best to use them.

To grab people’s attention, in the demo you just have access to all the mechanics but all the bots have nerfed cooldowns so it feels more like a PvP battle (if everyone you were playing against was a bit daft!)

Anyway peace to you all take it easy 😉

  • Androfoco Preview Gameplay Video – Calverton Rickles

Hi folks, I am here to present some new gameplay footage of the in development game Androfoco.

If you like this, I would love it if you gave it a wishlist here:

    https://store.steampowered.com/app/3771980/Androfoco

In this level there are a lot of trenches were the town has been dug up with staircases leading up to the ground.

This level is a little spooky, making the fast paced action feel intense.

Check it out on the Gamer’s Tavern. Very cool peer tube instance! No ads, good privacy

It is easier to defeat opponents when they are on the surface but make sure you are ready for a fight when you rise. The trenches are most suited to close combat.

In Androfoco, even if your opponents are far ahead the tables can quickly turn.
