Down the hatch is a banging vegan restaurant! Amazing burgers here and its down in a little basement hence down the hatch 😉

Here are some of the vegan zinger wings and the jager glaze wings. You can choose whether you want them to be mushrooms or seitan and they are amazing. The portion size is way bigger than this, these are just a few on my side plate.

If that prawn toast looks familiar to you then it should! ibvo: wu tang scran

I have heard that the owners of Down the hatch and woo tan scran (it’s not actually wu tang scran 🤣) are brothers in law or something! So woo tan scran food is available here too!

Here is the delightful zinger burger, it’s amazing. I was being dozy and didn’t realise I ordered the same flavour for both burger and wings oops

They also do amazing cocktails, vegan milkshakes and even vegan milkshakes with alcohol. My god.

Lastly the staff were super ffiendly and helpful helping us with the pram and what not. Totally brilliant!

An awesome little Kurdish café on London road in Liverpool. I think this falafel sandwich is the only vegan thing on the menu but it’s an absolute belter and it is a very authentic cafe so certainly worth a visit

Even from the outside you know you’re onto something good!

The buddha bowl with vegan feta is amazing

They even do vegan milkshakes not had one in ages!

They also have a million baked goods to have would deffo recommend checking it out

  • ibvo: guac n roll

Punk rock and vegan food. Name a more iconic duo

    https://www.happycow.net/reviews/guac-n-roll-liverpool-134461

Tucked behind London road in Liverpool city centre is this amazing restaurant. The walls are adorned with old punk gig leaflets

Everything is vegan so there is so much choice! Pictured are the sticky ribz, chips and guan n roll burger. The portion sizes are huge, you have to unhinge your jaw to eat that burger.

We went to watch a poppy gig (https://impoppy.com/) after a guac n roll once. It was a struggle we were so full. Absolutely 0 regrets 😎😎😎

It’s so tasty, just quality seitan recipes.

This restaurant is entirely vegan and it’s brilliant

I’ve not had a fried rice in a while as it tends to have egg in it so the chilli ‘beef’ fried rice went down so well

100% would recommend if you are in liverpool 🤩

  • ibvo: vibe cafe

    oh my god

    https://thevibecafe.co.uk/

    vibe café is fantastic

It is a very special place. Every single thing on the menu is amazing and the breakfast options are very inventive. I’ve never had a vegan omelette or eggs benedict quite like it.

The staff are bloody lovely and the toilets are in the mirror dimension (you will understand once you are there!)

If you are in liverpool you really need to check them out, vegan or not!

Pictured is the xheeze smash burger – unreal!

  • ibvo: forked up vegan

Forked up vegan is so so good. It has had many homes over the years, at the woodside ferry terminal, in am office block in birkenhead and now at the blackstock market where it appears to be thriving

needless to say we’ve been many times over the years

    https://www.blackstockmarket.co.uk/food-market-traders/forked-up

The sesame toast was new to us and it was so so good. The tofu duck pancakes, loaded fries and blag korean chicken wings and burger are amazing.

We already want to go back to get the rest of the menu because we have missed it a lot

  • ibvo: sanskruti liverpool

sanskruti is a brilliant authentic south indian restaurant. It is entirely vegetarian with a lot of vegan options. There are also quite a few gluten free options too!

Upon returning to this restaurant I was overly excited about these vegan mango lassis. It is a yoghurty type drink and it is just fantastic

the Kathal Lazeez is also a banging jackfruit curry. Absolutely sound 😎😎😎
