To those who don’t know RIPE are responsible for handing out IP addresses to orgs in Europe and some of the middle east too!
They have very high quality courses for free. The exams you get for free if your organisation is a member…. however if you look out on mastodon they give out exam vouchers in the summer if you complete one of their courses

If you want to learn more about ipv6 you can do this free certification and they also give you a free t shirt for completing it.

If you want to do the certification you kind of need a VM with a public ipv4 address and a domain name. Ypu could do with some linux skills as you need to set up a simple web server and email server. I used one on hostkey, they were super helpful as they don’t allow SMTP but made an exception temporarily so I could finish the cert.
Would recommend pursuing this as it was fun. One day I will get round to dual stacking my mikrotik router at home 😭😂
